Where the Story Began
Fabled Fox Clothiers began with a frustration that we had with the LARP and medieval community: finding clothing that are functional, immersive, well-made, sustainable and made in Canada.
Too often, the options were limited to mass-produced costumes that didn’t hold up to real wear, generic items that don't feed the story, or had to be ordered from far away with little transparency around how or where they were made. At the same time, there was a growing desire to support Canadian-made businesses and invest in craftsmanship that aligned with shared values of sustainability, quality, and community.
There was a clear gap between what people needed to bring their characters to life and what was actually available. Fabled Fox was created to fill that space.
Rooted in a love of LARP, storytelling, and traditional craft, the brand set out to offer made-to-order medieval and fantasy garments produced in Canada. Our pieces are designed for movement, longevity, and immersion.
Every garment is an answer to that original problem: clothing built for real adventures, made with care, and created to support both the stories we tell and the makers behind them.

Fabled Fox Clothiers is built on the belief that clothing should be made responsibly, transparently, and with genuine care. How something is made matters just as much as how it looks or how it feels to wear.
Our approach is intentionally small-scale and thoughtful. We prioritize ethical made-to-order production and make conscious material choices whenever possible, always balancing durability, comfort, and sustainability. Inclusive sizing and adaptable design are central to our work, because clothing should support a wide range of bodies and characters without compromise.
By creating garments made-to-order, we are able to reduce waste and avoid overproduction. Each piece is given the time and attention it deserves, allowing us to work with focus and respect for the materials, the makers, and the person who will ultimately wear it.
Our values are woven into every seam. Creativity, individuality, inclusivity, and craftsmanship guide every decision we make. We don’t believe in fast fashion or disposable stories. We believe in garments that are meant to be lived in, worn hard, and grown into, becoming richer with use and meaning over time.
