It’s earlier than you would normally greet the birds and squirrels, but you simply cannot contain yourself. The hubbub of this season’s Halfling Hike floods one’s sensible thinking and turns him into an ebullient nincompoop.

You gather your things: everything needed for a good day of walking and merry-making. Your walking stick waits by the door, your pipeweed pouch is at the ready, and your snacks and water are packed away safely.

Then there’s your trusty belt to carry it all.

How many Halfling Hikes has this belt been through, you wonder? How many things has it carried upon your waist?

She’s a little worn and scuffed, but you shan’t have it any other way. You gather your things and head off to join your friends for the day’s events.

The Traveller’s Belt is crafted from durable 5–6 oz vegetable-tanned water buffalo leather designed to withstand years of regular use.

The belt is secured using a solid metal ring and traditional friction-wrap construction, creating a highly adjustable fit while maintaining a clean and historical appearance.

The ring buckle is permanently secured using two solid hammered rivets for long-term durability and strength. The tip of the belt is cut into a pointed finish for a subtle touch of character and style.

To complete the piece, all edges are carefully burnished using water along with our beeswax and carnauba wax blend, creating a smoother finish while helping protect the leather edges over time.

The Traveller’s Belt is available in sizes ranging from 2XS to 2XL. These sizes are based on the waist measurement from out size chart.

Because the belt wraps and ties around itself, sizing can slightly affect the length of the tail. Generally, the sizing is intended for the wearer to have roughly a 12-14 inch tail. Size down for a shorter tail, Size up for a longer, more dramatic tail.

This allows you to customize the look and feel of the belt depending on your preferred style.

Care Instructions

• Spot clean only with dry or slightly damp cloth
• Do not soak or machine wash
• Allow to air dry naturally
• Do not expose to direct heat sources
• Condition periodically with a leather-safe conditioner
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture
• Variations in colour and texture are part of the material’s character
• Please note, that over time, the hardware may develop a natural patina, adding even more character to the piece.
